Wondermesh was established by Allan Fearn in December 2001, to market insect netting. Allan has over 25 years of experience in growing brassicas and Fearns is now one of the largest users of Insect Net in Europe. His main interest lies in growing and packing over 600 acres of high quality Scottish swede for both the home and export market.
In 1999 Allan was the first commercial grower in the UK to use insect netting for controlling Cabbage Root Fly in swedes. The consistently good results achieved during the following three years inspired him to set up Wondermesh Ltd to promote and market insect netting as an effective control for CRF.
Since then, using all previous experience the company went on to successfully develop, research, test and design a new style of net called "wondermesh " which has as an International Patent pending.
We have also developed a complete system for laying, rolling, and storing nets which is currently available to all our customers.
As a company we aim to offer our customer's the best quality net products at competitive prices. We also offer advice to all our customers on the various techniques to ensure they get the best results first time without the need for any expensive and unnecessary learning mistakes. This combined with exceptional customer service has enabled Wondermesh Ltd to become the UK's market leader for Insect Net.
